COLUMBUS, Ohio –– The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) today renewed SoundCom System’s Ohio State Term Schedule (STS), effective December 1, 2014. Covering nearly 70 different top-tier manufacturers in the audio, video, and communication industry, SoundCom’s Ohio STS provides an effective and efficient vehicle for K-12 schools, universities and colleges, and state, county and municipal entities to source fully engineered systems utilizing pre-negotiated costs approved by the State of Ohio.
SoundCom’s STS includes world-class products from manufacturers like AMX, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, JBL, LG, Panasonic, Planar, Rauland, Samsung, Sharp, Vaddio and more. Additionally, SoundCom’s STS includes a full suite of professional services including engineering, design, CAD, installation, programming, training, project management, and service and support. The schedule even supports prevailing wage labor rates when projects require it.
“SoundCom has worked very closely with the State of Ohio DAS to develop an offering that provides compelling value to the State enabling a sourcing method for complex systems that deliver solutions which precisely match the needs of public institutions that qualify for STS purchasing,” says Richard Threadgill, Director of Business Development at SoundCom Systems. “Our state and local clients can continue to work directly with SoundCom and the State gets the right solutions at the right time, and at a price that is vetted in advance. This saves time and costs over traditional bidding processes.”
SoundCom’s renewed State Term Schedule can be found on the Ohio Department of Administrative Services website at www.ohio.gov.
