WARREN, Ohio –– Delphi Automotive PLC, a leading global technology company for the automotive industry, today selected SoundCom Systems of Berea, OH to design and install a range of audio and video technology improvements at the Delphi Champion Technical Center Testing Laboratories located in Warren, OH.
SoundCom will design and deploy a fully integrated audio and video collaboration system in the primary conference center at this site which will feature an impressive three wide, three high fully engineered Planar high-definition video wall. This system will allow Delphi engineers to more effectively collaborate on system designs and concepts while more effectively connecting this site with other Delphi sites around the world and, more importantly, with Delphi’s customers and suppliers.
“The video wall is only half the story with this project,” says Richard Threadgill, Director of Business Development at SoundCom Systems, “an entire back-end system has been carefully designed so that Delphi employees can quickly connect and share data in a highly effective and profound way.”
The integrated system is based on the AMX Enova DXLink platform for management, distribution, and control of content with capacity to support future expansion for conferencing and presence applications along with future 4K support.
“Delphi is clearly making a statement with their team members and with their clients that technology is important,” Mr. Threadgill continues, “and that as a technology company they are setting a high competitive mark in the industry.”
The systems include wired and wireless content sharing capabilities along with advanced audio conferencing, integrated with Microsoft Lync for a seamless collaboration experience to meet the needs of today and the near future.
