As one of Ohio’s fastest growing cities, Westlake’s City Hall needed a new home. To reflect the progressive nature of the city government, only the most advanced, highly integrated audio-visual system could be installed. SoundCom was chosen by the City of Westlake to install their state-of-the-art council chamber system.
SoundCom worked closely with the City’s architect, Blunden Barclay Robbie, and consultant to deliver a system that not only met the needs of the growing city, but exceeded their expectations. Featuring multiple remote controlled pan-tilt-zoom cameras and complete touch screen integration, the system is as powerful as it is easy to use.
"The challenge here is to harness the power of the system for the user so it flows smoothly and functions flawlessly, by using AMX control systems, we have accomplished this."
The system is capable of conducting live council chamber meetings, accommodating local and regional TV hookups, broadcasting throughout the facility, and is prepared for future growth including video conferencing.
