Built in 1928, the Marion Palace Theatre has served as the cultural epicenter for the area attracting top stars and performers for years. Recently, the theatre underwent a renovation that included a new house sound system.

After an exhaustive and competitive evaluation process, the Palace chose SoundCom to design and install a Left, Center, Right house sound reinforcement system. The main house JBL clusters were custom-built by SoundCom to blend into the historic space, enhancing the very unique architecture.

EAW JF series speakers were used for front fill and Community CPL series speakers were used as under balcony fill to support the LCR clusters. A new MediaMatrix digital processing matrix was also installed to provide better control of the entire system and improve flexibility.

In addition, SoundCom provided new stage monitors and a new stage intercom system for improved communications. The system is performing so well that incoming musicians are using the house sound system as opposed to bringing in an outside rig, which is unusual in today’s concert performance industry.

Please call or email us and ask to speak to a member of SoundCom’s Professional Sound and Video Team. With offices in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, SoundCom can arrange a system demonstration, arrange site visits or meet with you and/or your design team, architect or consultant to discuss your project in greater detail.
