Since 1992 LifeCare Hospital has specialized in complex patients who require extended hospitalization. LifeCare Hospital of Dayton is located just outside of Dayton. SoundCom worked on the third floor in the east and west wings to provide LifeCare with the latest in nurse-patient communication.
SoundCom outfitted the 44 patient stations with the Rauland Responder IV nurse call Technology which enables the patients to easily communicate with the nurses and doctors throughout the unit. The hospital is also equipped with a Tracer system and pagers which enable the staff members to be located easily eliminating the need for overhead paging to find doctors and nurses. The PC based Management Reporting Software allows management to create reports so that patient call history can be reviewed.
