As the anchor community of Lorain County, the City of Elyria chose SoundCom Systems to install their state-of-the-art council chamber audio/video systems. This unique space features a “theater-like” backdrop which brings a dramatic finish to the room.
SoundCom worked closely with the City’s architect and consultant to deliver a system that not only met the needs of the growing city, but exceeded their expectations. Featuring multiple remote controlled pan-tilt-zoom cameras and complete touch screen integration, the system is as powerful as it is easy to use'
The system is capable of conducting live council chamber meetings, accommodating local and regional TV hookups, broadcasting throughout the facility, and is prepared for future growth including video conferencing.
The system is completely integrated and scalable to grow with the City’s future needs. In addition to the Council Chambers, SoundCom provided the City with portable video conferencing systems and portable interactive whiteboard systems aimed at meeting the presentation needs of the City.
