When the Akron Art Museum first opened its doors in 1922, it was in the basement of the public library. Now 85 years later the museum has tripled in size and has given SoundCom Systems the opportunity provide the auditorium, café and video gallery with top of the line audio and video technology.

SoundCom installed two wireless AMX touchpanel controllers which are controlling all of the technology in the rooms. The touch panels control everything from the projector screen, projector and lighting system to the DVD/VCR players, CD/Cassette player and the teleconferencing system all with the touch of a button. SoundCom provided a custom lectern that houses a DVD/VCR player as well as one of the touch panels.

There are multiple plasma displays, sound reinforcement systems and assisted listening systems throughout the auditorium, café and video gallery. All of this along with a wireless microphone system and multiple speakers and amplifiers provide a top of the line audio and video system for the art museum.

If you want to learn more call and speak with SoundCom’s Professional Sound & Video Team. With offices in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati SoundCom Systems can arrange a demonstration or meet with you and/or your architect to discuss this and other solutions.
